If a company has a careers page describing the types of jobs that are done there – even if there aren’t job listings – it’s seen as more established. If you’re in an industry where trust and reputation matter – this is one way to tip the scales a little in your favor.

You don’t need to be actively looking

You can have a generic application form saying “We’re always looking for great people” or something similar. It’s a cheap and easy way to establish trust and attract applications; it’s a win-win.
